Positive Alternatives announces the hiring of a new Executive Director, Kelli Kamholz. “I’m excited about this new challenge as Positive Alternatives works to implement evidence based programming, improve outcome measures, and expand in Western Wisconsin.”
Kelli, an alumna of the Human Development and Family Studies program at UW-Stout, has been with Positive Alternatives since 2003 in various capacities. She began as a resident counselor and practicum student in the group home in Menomonie, followed by three years as Adolescent Care Manager. In 2006, she led in the opening of the new group home in River Falls, where she was program coordinator for the last six years. “Over the last 10 years, I have seen Positive Alternatives grow from a small, non-profit organization to a dynamic leader in services for at-risk youth and families in Western Wisconsin. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead Positive Alternatives through this next chapter.”
Kelli grew up in Independence, WI, and currently lives in South St Paul, MN, with her husband Nick and their dog Mikka. Kelli started as Executive Director on April 4, 2013.
