Positive Alternatives is now accepting resumes for a Program Coordinator position. This position is available due to expansion of the agency to a fifth location. This Program Coordinator will join the leadership team of a growing agency and manage the group home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining an organized, therapeutic environment for at-risk youth. Responsibilities include development, oversight, and implementation of group home programming for youth as well as hiring and supervising staff and volunteers, and participating in and contributing to agency initiatives through membership of the leadership team.
Ideal candidates will be a strong leader, positive, highly motivated, organized, confident, and willing to learn new things. To be successful, a candidate will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license as well as a driving record and criminal record free from major violations. Applicants must also have a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field and 2-4 years of experience. Experience with staff supervision, program oversight, and adolescents is preferred.
This is a full time position and will primarily be daytime hours Monday through Friday, but some evening and weekend hours will be required. The position is primarily located in our Wisconsin Rapids Group Home. Some travel is required to our other agency locations regularly, and also to trainings or conferences a couple times a year. This is a salaried position, with a starting salary of $47,476 plus benefits, along with the possibility of regular annual pay increases.
