Positive Alternatives, Inc. is now accepting resumes for a Program Coordinator position.  This Program Coordinator will join the leadership team of a growing agency.  Responsibilities include development, oversight, and implementation of community-based prevention and intervention programs for youth and families as well as supervision of staff and volunteers and participation in and contribution to agency initiatives through membership of the leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, positive, highly motivated, organized, confident, and willing to learn new things.  To be successful, a candidate will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license along with a driving record and criminal record free from major violations.  Applicants must also have a bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field and 2-4 years of experience.  Experience with staff supervision, program oversight, and adolescents is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position and will primarily be daytime hours Monday through Friday, but some evening and weekend hours will be required.  The position could be primarily located in our Menomonie or River Falls offices.  Some travel is required a couple times a year.  This is a salaried position with starting salary range from $34,320-$38,896 plus benefits with the possibility of regular annual increases.  Benefits include: paid holidays, earned personal and vacation time, as well as a monthly Tier I employee stipend which includes an option for a cash payout or the ability to purchase dental, life, and disability insurance, dependent care, and a retirement investment option.
