QRTP Group Home Services

A Trauma-Informed Treatment Model
Positive Alternatives ensures trauma-informed care through a safe, culturally respectful environment, emphasizing staff training and resource utilization.

Access to Nursing Staff & Nursing Staff
Positive Alternatives staff attend consultation sessions with clinicians regularly to review client care, receive guidance, learn, and enhance Compassion Resiliency skills. Staff have access to nursing staff who provide health assessments, guidance related to medications, and responses to general health questions.

Enhanced Family Participation Policies
Positive Alternatives promotes family involvement through calls, visits, and video chats, aiding in problem-solving, preparing for reunification, and individualized treatment plans.

Aftercare Support
Positive Alternatives offers Aftercare, supporting residents before and after discharge with services like financial planning, mental health support, and employment assistance.

Accreditation
As a QRTP, Positive Alternatives is required to be accredited. PA is accredited through the Council on Accreditation (COA).
