Gretchen Niedbalski
Board Member
Gretchen, a Board Member since 2015, holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Viterbo University and a Masters of Science in Education with a focus on School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Superior. She currently serves as a School Counselor at Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools, specifically at Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Gretchen likes to be an active member in her school and community. She’s honored to be part of a non-profit that values are client centered, community oriented, and has a collaborative approach that helps target at-risk youth and equips them with social and emotional tools to succeed in life.
She’s honored to serve on the PA Board of Directors and looks forward to being part of a program that helps strengthen families and enhances the lives of at-risk youth. Gretchen is particularly interested in helping breakdown barriers to mental health services and working with Positive Alternatives to enhance and enrich the communities of Wood County and across the state of Wisconsin.
In her free time, Gretchen loves adventures and spending time with her friends and family, especially her miniature schnauzer, Patton. She believes in a mindset of giving, having an impact in her community, and being involved in opportunities that stimulate change, inspire awareness, and being present with those she encounters.
