Kelli Kamholz

President + CEO

Kelli always knew she wanted to be in the helping field and felt a special gravitation towards assisting youth. A passion that ultimately led her to Positive Alternatives over two decades ago, where she has since spent her entire career.

Kelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, complemented by a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Since starting as a Resident Counselor in 2003 during her last semester at Stout, she has risen through the ranks, serving as a Case Manager, Program Director, and, finally, our President/CEO as of 2013.

Kelli loves the Positive Alternatives mission and our quest for continual improvement, as we’re always seeking out better ways to uplift and serve those in need, never settling for the status quo or doing things “just because.” We’re always willing to learn and change!

When away from PA, she enjoys quality time with her husband, Nick, their son, Colson, and dog, Ruby. You'll often find her cheering Colson on during his hockey, baseball, and football games or taking Ruby on one of their daily walks. Whether it’s -25 degrees or 110 degrees, rain, snow, sleet, or scorching sunshine, Kelli takes pride in conquering the unpredictable Midwest weather while strolling with Ruby by her side.
