What drew you to working in this field?

I have two younger sisters that I got to babysit when I was a kid, and that made me realize I wanted to work with kids. My college roommate had a mentoring job, and I started working at the same place throughout my undergrad. When I moved for graduate school, I was excited to find another mentoring job!

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, University of Wisconsin–La Crosse
Master of Science in Education, University of Wisconsin–Stout

What is your favorite mentoring activity?

Painting and going for walks.

What is your favorite thing about being a mentor?

I enjoy watching the growth of the clients and the new skills they learn and develop!
