Laura Clark
Program Director
Laura has been a part of the Positive Alternatives team since 2016, bringing seven years of service to her role as Program Director.
She has an educational background that includes an M.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Sociology. Her professional journey prior to Positive Alternatives involved working with adults with disabilities and behavioral challenges. Laura also earned a Supervisory Management Certificate, in order to facilitate her professional growth and leadership role at PA.
Laura enjoys doing a job that allows her to give back to individuals and the community as a whole and finds immense reward in seeing the difference her work is making and the meaningful impact it has on those she serves. To Laura, Positive Alternatives embodies a family-centered ethos that extends not only to the organization's community work but also to its treatment of their employees. She says the understanding and supportive atmosphere cultivated by Positive Alternatives has created a great atmosphere to work in.
When away from PA, Laura loves being outdoors, camping, hiking, foraging, gardening, kayaking, boating, and anything else in nature!
